Please note the following legal and liability disclosures that apply to visiting Belle Meade Historic Site and Winery and purchasing our wines:

TENNESSEE AGRITOURISM LIABILITY ACT:
WARNING: Under Tennessee law, there is no liability for an injury to or death of a participant in an activity conducted at this location or by this professional if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of the activity. Inherent risks of activities include, among others, risks of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals, as well as the potential for you to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this activity.

UNDER AGE DRINKING: It is illegal for anyone under 21 years of age to purchase and/or consume our wines – regardless of “parental permission”. We require all of our guests to show a valid proof of age when purchasing our wines or consuming our wines on our property.

GOVERNMENT WARNING:

According to the Surgeon General, women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects.
(2) Consumption of alcoholic beverages impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems.
